Om de een of andere reden was het volgens YouTube gerelateerd aan een video van Richard Cheese (dank, Peter). Waarom weet ik niet, maar een tof nummer is het wel: ‘Video Killed The Radio Star‘ van Buggles.

Het was de allereerste clip die MTV uitzond toen ze begonnen op 1 augustus 1981 en, om het toepasselijk te houden, was het ook hun miljoenste op 27 februari 2000. Allemaal leuke feitjes die terug te vinden zijn op hun Wikipedia entry. Daar staat trouwens ook een linkje naar het flashfilmpje dat een internet parodie op het nummer maakte: ‘Internet Killed The Video Star‘.
